(KATV) — A Facebook group of prayer warriors has been formed for a Russellville native who is fighting for his life after suffering a traumatic brain injury.
On January 10, 21-year-old Ben Whorton and his friends went on a routine hunting trip early that morning but for Ben’s loved ones, this day would be anything but normal. “He had his back to the direction of travel,” said Greg Whorton, Ben’s dad.
“They bent down to go under a bridge and Ben raised up a little too soon and the bridge caught him in the back of the head.” His girlfriend Macie Petty felt something was wrong and texted him at 9:04 a.m. that morning. CONTINUE
