(Lincoln Journal Star) – Tyler Hooper has answered “yes” to every question that’s come up since a sledding accident in January left him in a coma with a life-threatening head injury.
First, it was whether the Wilber-Clatonia junior was going to live. Then it was whether Hooper could someday return to school and lead a normal life. After that, was there any possibility he could return to high school athletics and resume his promising career as a discus thrower?
Day by day, Hooper keeps beating the odds. And each day, he moves a little closer to the discus marks he’ll need to throw at districts in 11 days to miraculously make a return trip to the state meet. CONTINUE
