(Evening Sun) – Kennard-Dale senior student-athlete Patrick Maloney still has a long road ahead of him, but he has been making excellent strides in his rehab from a devastating brain injury, according to his mother.
In a post on the Kennard-Dale football team’s Facebook Thursday evening, Jennifer Maloney said her son had an “amazing” week in rehab.
He’s now able to eat puréed food like pudding and applesauce and has been able to write his name with a pen.
He’s also using an iPad to communicate and has been able to answer questions. And he’s starting to make physical progress after barely being able to move only a month ago. CONTINUE
