A Year After Car Accident, South Kingstown Teen is a Walking Miracle

Aidan Mulligan

(TurnTo10) – A walking miracle. A South Kingstown teen who has spent the last year recovering from a car accident is speaking out for the first time.

On March 8th, 2019, then 18-year-old Aidan Mulligan of Wakefield was a passenger in a car that crashed through a fence along Curtis Corner Road around 11:30 p.m. Mulligan was transported to Rhode Island with serious injuries, his mom Sharry said a piece of the fence went through his head.

“I was in Florida when I got that call,” said Sharry. “I look back at it I’m like, how did I do that? It’s a day to day thing, I kept my momma pants up, kept positive, kept pushing forward every day.”

“I don’t remember anything from that accident,” said Mulligan. “I was told I wasn’t even going to make the movement from the car I was into the helicopter I was going to die.”

Aidan spent weeks in the hospital undergoing several brain surgeries. CONTINUE
