(My Central Jersey) – James Kehoe is back at school – virtually – days after being released from the hospital following a bike accident in which he suffered a traumatic brain injury.
The Sayreville Middle School eighth-grader, who plays football for the Sayreville Junior Bombers, spent three weeks hospitalized, including at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital’s Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital in New Brunswick following the Sept. 10 accident.
“He’s been nothing short of a miracle. He is Jimmy. He’s a teenager,” said Chris Callahan, a family friend and vice president of the Sayreville Junior Bombers, adding the teen came to Sunday’s game and was running around before his parents told him to stop. CONTINUE
