Bobby testified in part, “No other state has laws that so flagrantly violate the patient’s right to life and places a stain on the constitutional right to due process.

Texas House Bill Seeks to End Texas’ Deadly 10-Day Rule

WASHINGTON, April 14, 2021 / — Today, Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network’s President Bobby Schindler will testify concerning Texas House Bill 2609, which seeks to end the 10-Day Rule of the Texas Advance Directive Act (TADA). The 10-Day Rule allows a hospital to unilaterally authorize withdrawal or withholding of a patient’s life-sustaining treatment that is not based on medical determinations but rather value judgments focused on “quality of life.” 

Schindler will testify in part:
