(WHAM) – Julian Huffman is on the road to recovery after suffering a traumatic brain injury. The Geneseo High School football player was rushed to Strong hospital during the September 23 homecoming game with a life threatening brain injury.
There, he underwent emergency surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain. On Friday, Huffman shared an update on his health.
“Honestly it has been pretty tough because from what happened during the game, I have no recollection of it so I all of a sudden just woke up in the hospital with no idea what was going on and it kind of sucks because it is my senior year but I can’t play anymore but other than that I just am pretty much normal,” Huffman said.
