(KUTV) — Over the last few weeks of spring, thousands of Utah students graduated from college. But for Kendal Levine, it was a big accomplishment – especially considering the obstacles she had to overcome to get there.
“I honestly doubted myself,” said the Utah Valley University student, who received her associate in science degree in May, “because others were doubting me, too.” But, the 29-year-old added, “it happened because I put in the effort to do so, even though it sucked. But it was painful, but I did what I needed to get where I am now.”
Kendal received her degree 11 years after her college experience first began. She grew up in Utah and played basketball at Stansbury High School. CONTINUE
