Denver Doctor Who Recommended Assisted Suicide to Anorexia Patients Defends Her Decision

(Daily Mail) – A doctor has said medically assisted suicide should be offered to people with ‘terminal’ eating disorders and has already recommended it to at least two patients.

Dr Jennifer Gaudiani runs a clinic in Denver where she specializes in the treatment of eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa – a mental health and body image condition that often sees sufferers starve themselves.

She argues that anorexia, while not as severe as cancer, is brutal for sufferers and that patients with ‘terminal’ cases should be afforded access to Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) where it is legal. CONTINUE
