Former Ajax CEO Out of Intensive Care After Brain Injury


(Football Today) – Former Ajax Chief Executive Officer, Edwin van der Sar, has shown remarkable progress in his recovery after suffering a cerebral haemorrhage while on holiday in Croatia.

The 52-year-old football legend has confirmed he has been moved out of intensive care to the delight of fans and well-wishers worldwide.

Van der Sar was rushed to the hospital over a week ago following a bleed on the brain and was recovering in an intensive care unit (ICU) in Croatia before being transferred to a hospital in the Netherlands.

However, the former Manchester United goalkeeper has confirmed that he is out of the ICU but will remain at the hospital until he is discharged by the medical experts. CONTINUE
