(WKRC) – A young man is expected to make a full recovery after a life-threatening brain injury. On Thursday, he was able to thank the neurosurgeon who gave him a second chance at life.
Anish Nattamai was internally bleeding, which was causing severe pressure on his brain. It’s not a rare injury, but if he wasn’t treated immediately, he likely would’ve died.
A University of Cincinnati sophomore is still in disbelief he’s coming up on a year of recovering from a traumatic brain injury, even as he shook his neurosurgeon’s hand. Most of what Anish Nattamai remembers comes from his mom and the team of specialists. CONTINUE
