Middleweight Champion’s Remarkable Journey of Recovery from Brain Injury

(TDPel Media) – Nick Blackwell, the former British middleweight champion, continues to defy the odds and inspire with his remarkable recovery from a traumatic brain injury. In 2016, Blackwell suffered a brain bleed during a match against Chris Eubank Jr., which led to him being placed in a medically induced coma.

Despite the life-threatening injury, Blackwell made a miraculous recovery and announced his retirement from boxing. However, just months later, Blackwell went against medical advice and engaged in a sparring session, resulting in severe brain swelling.

Emergency surgery was required, during which part of his skull had to be removed. He remained in a coma for a month. CONTINUE
