(New Haven Register) – Kori Wilkerson is smiling again. Kori’s brother Jason Wilkerson said his older sister has made progress in her recovery from a brain injury sustained in a car crash on I-91 South late on Jan. 8 when she was returning home from work as a nurse in the state Department of Correction.
“She’s coherent now. She’s still struggling with brain function for the most part but she’s stable and healthy, out of the ICU now and able to communicate with us, and has had some visitors,” he said. CONTINUE
