(MSN) – A futuristic pod which has been dubbed the ‘Tesla of euthanasia’ has caused a stir in Switzerland and could be banned, prosecutors have said.
The pod, which is named the Sarco, was unveiled at the Venice Design Festival in 2019 and aims to remove the ‘yuk factor’ linked to death, makers say.
The first person to use the machine in Switzerland was scheduled to do so next week but now Swedish prosecutors are looking into banning the pod. CONTINUE
