(Psychology Today) – Former World Boxing Champion John Famechon sustained severe brain injuries in August 1991. In October 1992, John was discharged from the hospital, where he was informed he would remain incapacitated.
In December 1993, John started a new, complex multi-movement therapy and rehabilitation program, which eventually helped him regain a condition close to his pre-accident state.
After John’s previous week’s extraordinary running achievement, John was now leaving the house on a daily basis, and, with his walking stick, John was walking lengthy distances independently around the circular driveway at the front of his home. CONTINUE
