Mesa Marathon Cyclist Credits Faith for His Recovery


(Mesa Tribune) – After a debilitating car accident, a traumatic brain injury, and the heartbreaking loss of his son, John Bunyard is reclaiming his life. Eight years ago, his life changed in an instant. A young night-shift worker fell asleep at the wheel while driving nearly 80 miles per hour.

The vehicle slammed into Bunyard’s car as he sat stopped on an exit ramp off the US 60, triggering a chain-reaction crash involving four other vehicles. The result was catastrophic.
