(Scottsdale Progress) – On what should have been an ordinary workday in 2019, a simple act of kindness changed Scottsdale resident Lynn Knutson’s life forever.
Then an employee of a Scottsdale supermarket, she was helping a customer load groceries into an SUV when the rear hatch suddenly slammed down, striking her on the top of the head. Seven years later, Knutson continues to battle the effects of a traumatic brain injury she suffered in that accident.
It has left her unable to work and coping with debilitating physical, cognitive, visual and balance problems. She spends much of her week traveling to medical appointments while searching for specialized treatment that could restore some of the independence she lost that day. CONTINUE
