(Cornwall Live) – A family were told to prepare for the worst after their five-year-old son suffered a catastrophic head injury when he fell six metres from a cliff onto rocks.
After suffering a serious head injury at Trevone Beach, near Padstow, Harry’s parents were asked if they wanted to say goodbye to him as the prognosis was so bad.
Harry was excitedly heading towards Trevone when he suddenly fell off the cliff almost 20ft on to rocks below. Harry landed on top of his bodyboard but had sustained a serious head injury in the fall.
Mum Becky Bishop said: “I saw him disappear, I just dropped everything and ran. There were so many people that tried to help, he was clearly badly injured, but we didn’t want to move him.
“Harry had a lump on the back of his head. At that point when he was still talking to us, we had no idea how bad his injury was.” CONTINUE
