Minnesota Man Battling COVID is Moved to Texas After Hospital Threatens to Stop Treatment

(New York Post) – Scott Quiner, 55, of Buffalo, Minn., was admitted to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids on Oct. 31 and scheduled to have his ventilator shut off Jan. 13 after he suffered lung failure.

The father of three was unvaccinated when he was diagnosed with the coronavirus around Halloween, Fox 9 reported, citing his family and their lawyer.

Quiner was placed under deep sedation and hooked up to a ventilator when his oxygen levels dropped dangerously low, according to the news outlet.

His wife, Anne Quiner, sought the restraining order from Anoka County court to keep him on the vent after she claimed that Allina Health, which operates Mercy Hospital, threatened to pull the plug on her husband’s breathing machine, allegedly believing there was no more hope for him. CONTINUE
