(Sheridan Press) — Sheridan High School football player Kyler Mines is continuing to recover from a life-threatening traumatic brain injury he suffered during a junior varsity game last month.
Mines, a sophomore linebacker and running back for the Broncs, was recently transferred from the pediatric intensive care unit at Denver Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado to the rehabilitation unit.
He’s undergoing physical, speech and occupational therapies to help him regain some of the function he lost after helmet-to-helmet contact with another player during a Sept. 5 home football game against Cody High School. CONTINUE
